How our lives have changed during 2020! Each of
us had our routines and ways of living. Then suddenly, COVID-19 stripped us of normalcy and transformed our daily lives, for better or worse.
For some people that meant adapting or
changing a specific activity. For others it meant that their entire lives were
turned upside down.
For some, a house filled with people would bump into each other’s way seven
days a week. For others, a home with a single person would become Isolating.
Perhaps you went into quarantine or
self-protection mode. Perhaps your workplace required you to work remotely. Or,
you were furloughed or laid off.
Perhaps your child’s school closed and you became responsible for full-time
childcare and education.
Did your health care and insurance suddenly
become insecure? Did you have trouble getting groceries because
of supply shortages, unsafe shopping conditions or unavailable online service?
Did you change how or where you get food due to availability, access or cost,
or did you shift from frequent takeout and dining out to having to fend for
yourself and your family?
Has your fitness routine unraveled? Have you
gained weight? Did you shift from a gym or yoga studio to online or solitary
workouts?
Once we have vaccines, rapid testing and better
early treatment, we’ll have the opportunity to consider how we move our lives
forward with a combination of in-person and remote experiences. In the meantime, we hope these
